Universal Health care would be such a bad thing for our country, but people are dumb enough to believe it would help people by letting the poor people who can't afford health care have it. Why do people come down from Canada (where they have free health care) in order to get surgeries here? Because they don't want to have to wait months to get the surgery! It will seriously affect the quality of the health care provided, too, if the person receiving it isn't paying for it. When people don't see how much something costs, they don't make rational decisions.
