We are currently on cable. La De Da! At one time, I would have said that I liked the cable but every year they raise the price a little more. We get a new "opportunity" with a "sale" price to have more channels. Unfortunately, those new deals always shoot the price a little bit higher. For instance, we started out with a bill of 19.99 plus tax for basic and expanded basic with the promise that after a year, the new price would be 29.99 plus tax. Weeelll, the year came and the price was over 40 bucks. I called them. They said "tough", we signed up for that. Uh no! Finally, I got the supervisor who was willing to drop it to the expected price for 6 months. After that, I was not eligible for another sale for three months. Sigh. It's been a nightmare ever since. IF we could, I would drop the whole deal. Also unfortunately, we live in a rural area where we get a grand total of ONE station and that one comes in badly. I am now finished with BOO HOO station for today.
